I have ran the trouobleshooting tool and it runs for hours, not getting anything done
I deleted the windows from the SoftwareDistribution folder the data files and the download files
I have stopped and restarted the windows modules installer,
did a scannow... no problems
no updates are able to get finished installing before it errors our

Help please! I keep getting this error messages when trying to update. The errors coming from the update are indicating that there is something wrong with my disc (so my brother says) but from the commands he ran there doesn't seem to be anything wrong
with my disc.

I am very computer illiterate so I need step by step instruction.

 

Is this also the case when you download the update directly from Microsoft?

Thank you, this is what I am doing right now from Microsoft website, it's almost finished , well it just failed...trying to use the stand alone installer....

 

I have downloaded the update, now I am trying to install it...it keeps failing....

ended up resetting, my laptop, and now it is just fine...

 

That's even heavier artillery than what I recommended. Very glad it worked out for you, though. All's well that ends well, right?
