Windows 10: Error: 0xc0000098 / Disk Error: reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media...

Hi,


I keep having this above mentioned error. I know that it probably has something to do with the HDD. I've already tried the following options:

1 Reset the BIOS

2 Set Hard disk as number 1 boot priority

3 Checked the cables to the Hard Disk

4 Tried to boot up from a Recovery drive - that's where my disk error changed its name into 0xc0000098

5 Tried to bood up from a Windows installation media - couldn't do it. It just shows Disk error

And Hard disk seems to work well. Not sure though


So, if you have any alternate ideas, please help me.

Or maybe i messed up with the 4th and 5th options. If you don't mind, give some clear instructions on them.

Reboot and select proper Boot device?

I accidentally deleted my hard disk and now when I turn it on I am met withck screen that reads "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key." Can someone resolve this please?

My power supply failed because the fan stopped working and then I replaced the PS. But, after the PS was replaced and booted PC when I got ;Reboot and select proper Boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press ok . So, then I checked
my BIOS and made the correction -working now.
