    ERROR 0xc1900101 EN WINDOWS 10 VERISON 2004


    • Saludos amigos:
    • Tengo una SURFECE i3 con Windows 10 Pro versión 1909,probe varias veces la actualización a la versión 2004 y al finalizar la instalación da error : 0xc1900101.
    • ya segui las recomendaciones de corregir errores pero nada.

    I understand your concern with the error: 0xC1900101 - 0x40017 while upgrading to Windows 10, we will help you with this issue.

    I would like to inform that this error may occur for one of the following reasons:

    • Antivirus software conflicts
    • Hardware conflicts
    • Corrupted/ faulty driver conflicts

    Unable to upgrade one of the system to Windows 10 Update Error 0xC1900101 - 0x20004

    Thank you for the reply. I read both of those threads already.

    1. Resetting BIOS. I flashed BIOS to the latest version. Currently running default settings. No change.

    2. Andre da Costa brings up a list of reasons. For error 0xC1900101-0x20017 he says refer to error 0xc000021a.

    2a. Regarding his troubleshooting steps for error 0xc000021a. He says to wipe the drive and switch from NTFS to GPT. This is incorrect. If this was true, then no one could update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 without a clean install. Beyond which, I updated
    my first desktop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 when it was running Windows 7 on NTFS.

    2b. Regarding his additional troubleshooting steps for error 0xC1900101-0x20017. He has a number of suggestions, such as disabling peripherals. I tried all of these for both .iso and USB installs. No luck.

    Any other suggestions?
