Error 10016 Crashing applications incessantly for months on end. Updating permissions for...

These applications have been totally unusable for the past 4 to 5 months. I've looked at dozens of support and forum posts across the internet on how to handle this issue, but the computer seems to ignore all solutions applied.

    The Problem:

When playing select games, all diverse in design, infrastructure and origin, the game will freeze and then crash within approximately 5 minutes of "gameplay", regardless of whether the game has been started and the world has been loaded or if I chosen to go past the main menu (or gotten the chance).

    Affected Programs:

    Monster Hunter: World

    Fallout 4

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

    Coinciding Errors:

4101: "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered." If present, it is always accompanied by error 10016.

    Games effected: All.

Fixes tried: Replacing amdkmdap file and trying out different Radeon verisons via clean reinstalling all Radeon software. Restart computer (or don't).

    Result: No change.

    Games effected: All.

Fixes tried: Granting full and inheriting permissions on the specified CLSID and APPID in Component Services both exclusively for my account (which is the one specified) and on other occasions combined with the greater Administrators group, Local System and in some cases, SYSTEM itself. Restart computer (or don't).

Setting owner to my account (Default owner is TrustedInstaller).

    Result: No change.

I have utilized a variety of resources and tools recommended on this site and many others for months to no result and this has become a rather plaguing and experience killing issue. A solution is needed and greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  2. Error 10016 - System Crash

    Hi,

So for the past couple months I have been experiencing system crashes. No error reports or blue screens other than one that appears in my system log: Screenshot.

I am trying to follow a fix I found online: Fix Error 10016 in Windows Event Viewer

Whenever I get to the step about adding System into the launch permissions of the RuntimeBroker the add button is greyed out: Screenshot

My first question that I have is that is it even possible that this is the error causing my whole system to crash?

My next question would be how do I fix it?

ERROR EVENT ID: 10016 "The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application

Cannot install an application I just bought. Win 10 Creation Update was just pushed and installed 19Dec17 and could be the issue. This application installed fine a couple of months ago as a trial.

    ERROR EVENT ID: 10016

"The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

    {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160} and APPID {9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}

to the user Dell-XPS-8300\Claire SID (S-1-5-21-1345963365-1806233299-704898516-1000) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component
    Services administrative tool"

I have found several discussions where the first step is to find the CLSID and APPID in the registry, then one can change permissions etc. However, I can not get past the first step...the CLSID and APPID are NOT in the registry as this application
is NOT installed. They were installed several months ago, but I uninstalled it after the trial was over. What next?
