Windows 10: Error 1200

Epson 1200 scanner now working! Very pleased.


Worked perfectly,

• Installed 2400 series driver (when it asked what model I had I also picked, 1270 and 4180 since these had the Slide scanner interface I thought it might add a few extra drivers)
• Restarted PC
• Needed to use Device manager 'Updated driver'
• Assign 2400 driver. (See attached image)
• Be sure scanner is powered on so it appears in device manager.

Tested the Slide scanner attachment, I used PRO mode and it was discovered.
I had to use the plastic blackout slide holder (for masking the slide) to find the slide though.

Nokia 1200 stop production or not?

I've not seen any definite news articles to suggest that. Then again, I've not seen any news articles confirming that Nokia has ceased production of any model.

However, I do think that the 1200 was rapidly replaced with the 1208/1209, which
is in production AFAIK, so this would indeed suggest that the 1200 no longer is.

 

HP LaserJet 1200 PCL5 doesn't work on win10

This is my result:

1) HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.1: twice failed to communicate

2) uninstall printer:

A)

I tried again a print job: "Printer is in an error state"

Removed printer (HP deskjet 1200 Series PCL5 -
USB connection - I also tried another USB port).

B)

On HP web page, looking for drivers:

HP LaserJet 1200 Printer series

Selected operating system: Windows, Windows 10 (64-bit) Change:

We were unable to retrieve the list of drivers for your product.

Please select the desired operating system and select “Update” to try again.

OK, then I used the driver from old Win10 PC.

In the printer list presented both of the printers

HP deskjet 1200 Series PCL5 and

HP deskjet 1200 Series PS appear twice.

Chosen HP deskjet 1200 Series PCL5....installed and rebooted.

(Print test page: "printer is in error state")

3) Clear spooler: OK

Print page from notepad: "Printer is in error state"(Notepad) or "Error printing on HP LaserJet... (Winword)".

In the printer queue there is the document in error.
