Windows 10: Error 1721 Windows 10

When my Adobe Acrobat Reader tries to update, the error message 1721 keeps coming up. The windows installer is in "manual" mode. What can I do to fix this problem?

I have been trying to install "CSI Etabs 2013 software" . but I got this Error (1721) and then when I want to Uninstalling , i got this Error(1721) again.

I did this steps but didn't work.

• Hold down the Windows key + R to open the Run box
• Type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER and click OK Even if you do this correctly,it may look like nothing happens
• Type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER and click OK
• Try the installation once more
  

By the way, I don't have problem with Installing last version of softwares. but I always have problem with Installing old version of softwares.

Windows 10; HP error 1721

Nope, Andre, I'm afraid Error 1721 is still very much there. I've got rid of everything on that list on your post except the Protect Tools Device Access Manager, which stubbornly doesn't want to leave me, even though I've informed it on innumerable occasions
that I want it to move on and bother someone else. It merely says "Error 1721", which I suppose is the computer equivalent of sticking out its tongue.

Hi Norman, error 1721 is an error with the Windows Installer service . . .

Click your Start Button, type services and Hit Enter

In the resulting list, find Windows Installer

Right click that service and choose Properties

On the resulting dialog, stop that service

Wait a second or two, hen start that service again

Close the Services App and try installing/uninstalling that app again
