Windows 10: Error 1935

Yes I am new to Windows 10.

When I tried to install my old Office 2003 in Windows 10, I get the Error 1935. I don't really see a simple way to fix this problem.

Does anyone have a simple way to fix Error 1935?

I also need to know how to get Shield for Defender to show on my Taskbar.

I suggest you refer to XiaoanZhong's solution, which you will find on the following thread. He provided a set of troubleshooting steps for Windows 7 but the practice proved that it is also good for Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps for Microsoft
Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable error 1935 mentioned by 'XiaoanZhong' on
3/12/2012.

Note: This task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you
follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
