Windows 10: Error after Backing Up

Hi there!


I used Backup & Restore Win7 to backup my Win10.


After backup is finished, I got this error:


Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Pictures. Error:STATUS_WAIT_2 0x80070002

Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Pictures\Saved Pictures. Error:STATUS_WAIT_3 0x80070003


It is not a terribly big issue, but I do remember a few years ago I was struggling to locate and restore my Saved Pictures folder it got "lost" because I keep changing its location.


If you can shed some light I'd appreciate it.

HDD S.M.A.R.T. reports error, what should I do?

first step is to back up the data first ... Then check the hdd for errors, etc ...

 

Thinking about Going back to Win8.1


If want to disable IE, still can. However, can't uninstall it like were able to in XP/98/whatever.
Here's how, although I find it useful in case Chrome or Firefox stops working and have to re-download it. *Wink
1. Search for turn windows features on or off and click it in the search results.

2. When the app opens, uncheck Internet Explorer 11.

3. Click Yes on the warning dialog.

4. Click OK.

• 
  

5. Restart for the changes to finish.

List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

(Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)
