Windows 10: Error after update for KB2267602

I had a notification in the system tray saying a reboot was pending after an update so I dutifully rebooted and now get the blue screen of death with the error: whea internal error :-



This is from the log files for updates saying it was successfully installed:

When I check the installed updates it's not there so I've no way to remove it?


Is there any way to force the update or uninstall it even if it's not there?

Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 error

Hello

When I run Windows Update I receive the following message concerning Windows Defender:





And when I try Windows Defender itself, I get the following:





The latest definition version installed is 1.245.410.0. Can anyone suggest what might be at fault here?

KB3097617 Update Bug + KB2267602 (1.207.2189.0)


I'm not able to complete the installation of the KB3097617 file (since 5 days). Try manual installation like suggested here:

Did not work. The problem occurs on restart.

Got the same issue with KB2267602 but it was solved by Windows after several attempts. Will try like suggested in the link above to disable Defender...

Edit: KB2267602 (1.207.2189.0) Was never able to installed that file. Ubuntu or Grub is not the source of the bug.
