Windows 10: Error code 0x8000000b when trying to add Gmail to Windows Mail app

This is what happens. I have just recently installed windows and this is the only function that isn't working correctly. I am up to date and I've checked the system for corrupted files/resources through cmd and it hasn't fixed this.

• Were you able to run the troubleshooter for Windows apps?
• Have you tried adding a different account in the Mail app?

I can't add my gmail account to the mail app in windows 10. When i go to add account and select google, the following error message pops:

Something went wrong...

Sorry we were unable to do that.

Error code: 0x8007042b

I don't have a 2 step verification in gmail. What do I do now?

 

i have the same problem 0x8000000b. i tried with different google account and it worked. But i need my main gmail mainly for my job
