Windows 10: Error Code: 0x80070003 in Windows 10 Mail

I got a message that my settings for two of my Windows 10 email accounts (cox.net and gmail) are out-of-date. When I click "Fix Account", it brings up the account and I'm asked to log in. When I enter my password for the account, I get the above error code. This happens on each of the accounts that I'm told are out-of-date. I can log in to both accounts so I know the passwords are valid. What does the error message mean and any suggestions for updating my settings?

Error code 0x80070003, while trying to sync Mail app. Windows 10.

I have tried all suggestions but nothing works. I cannot sync mail in windows 10 mail app. I get error code 0x80070003. Please help! Microsoft is getting rid of Windows Live Mail which really works, and I cannot make the mail app work.

I suggest you to follow the steps given in the link below and check if it helps you. Select Windows 8.1 from the Product list.
