Windows 10: Error Code 0x80070057 When installing Hyper-V in Windows 10

When attempting to install Hyper-V through the Add Programs and Features in Windows 10 Pro I can get 3 of the 4 checkboxes installed. The last checkbox, Hyper-V Services, keeps returning an error:


The parameter is incorrect.

Error code: 0x80070057.


I've run elevated PowerShell command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and re-ran the Windows Update, rebooted, and still the same result. Virtualization is enabled in the BIOS. I am not running any other virtualization software, but if this keeps up I'll have to.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Error when installing Hyper-V on Windows 10 Pro

Hi There,

I'm new to this forum. I've had Windows 10 now for a while and I would like to enable Hyper-V so that I can use the Android emulator in Visual Studio. However, once I've selected Hyper-V from the 'Add or Remove Windows Features' dialog, the program appears
to install normally but fails just before completion with the following error:

The parameter is incorrect.

Error Code: 0x80070057

Am an Administrator on my system and I've tried various fixes found online but none so far have worked. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Can't enable Hyper-V - Error 0x80070057

So it won't let me enable Hyper-V Platform, I could enable Hyper-V Management Tools though. I get the following message on Windows Features:

Windows couldn't complete the requested changes.



The parameter is incorrect.



Error code: 0x80070057

Specifications:

Windows 10 Build (14393.447), upgraded from W7.

Motherboard: P7P55D

Processor: i7 860

VT-x is enabled in BIOS, VT-d is disabled.

Things I've tried:

- DISM

- Clean boot

- Disabled & uninstalled my antivirus

By the way, I can run VMWare & Oracle Virtualbox just fine.
