Windows 10: Error Code 0x80070299 when trying Windows 10 Update KB5037768

I get this Error Message, when my Windows 10 system tries to Install the Update KB5037768.I dont know what to do.Every other post related to the Error Code is either Data-Transfer related or an Issue with Windows 7.Does Anybody know what to do ?

Unable to update (KB5037768) - Error 0x800f0922

I have been unable to install the latest update. I get prompted to reboot and it tries to update but fails and gives me the message "We couldn't complete the updates Undoing changes".

The windows update page shows:

2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768) - Error 0x800f0922

I've followed some steps like deleting the update and downloading again but doesn't solve the issue. Troubleshooter also cannot find any problems. Can someone please help getting this resolved? Thank you.

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
