Windows 10: Error code 0x800713AB shows up, and widows doesn't identify dial up connection

I had recently upgraded to 1809, and in the beginning, when I was using Wi-Fi, it was all very fine. The problem showed up when I started using my dial up connection again. I already signed into my pc with the Wi-Fi earlier, but didn't have the time to add a pin, so I sat down to do so with my dial up connection on now. The windows keeps showing error 0x800713AB on the add pin window. And now I just figured out, even my Microsoft store is no more working. It shows 0x80072F30. The pc shows connected in the lower corner, but in the network settings it shows Not Connected. I dug in deeper but it started looking even worse.

Hi oleuJL, can you please provide a bit more detail, where are you seeing this 0x800713AB error code and what exactly does the error popup say?

 

Dial up connection error 608


Ever since upgrading to Win 10 the dial up function hangs after the far end answers. When I try to look at the Security properties of the connection I get the 608 error code. My modem is Win 10 compatible and works fine on another communications program. I realize nobody uses DUN any more but I need it for certain situations. Thanks for any help

 

Lumia 620 doesn`t connect to computer via usb cable

Hi yall and thanks for the replies!



Unfortunately, the were of no help.



The phone isn`t listed in device manager, the list of devices doesn`t change if I have my phone connected to my computer(s). There are no mystery devices, no yellow triangle -markings or anything even remotely pointing to the direction the phone being connected.

It could be that my phone has a broken usb port, but it makes me wonder that it still charges the battery when connected to a computer.



This is not a big problem for me, that I must admit, but still, it kinda bugs me that the phone doesn`t work the way it`s supposed to work,



Anyways, if somebody comes up with something that might help, I am most grateful.

edit: Also, I have my laptop almost always connected to charger. Tried without charger just for the heck of it, didn`t help.
