Windows 10: Error Code 0x80072f8f in activation section and when downloading apps through the windows store

Whenever I visit the activation section of my windows install, I get the error 0x80072f8f along with the statement that they can't reach the activation servers at the moment. I get the same error whenever I try to download any apps from the windows store saying just 'Something unexpected happened'. I have tried resetting Windows, my internet connection is fully working and my date and time are correct, I cant find any more information on the topic

1. The only error message I get is "Try that again"



2. I haven't changed the computer, as far as I know. I'm using a laptop, so no new hardware or anything. This is the first time I've tried to use the Windows Store.

3. Windows 10 is activated.

The date and time are correct, as is the time zone. The Network Troubleshooter didn't find any problems. A restart didn't solve the problem.

Are there any other methods for solving this issue? I'd like to use the apps in the Windows Store but none of them will download-- after trying to download 5 different apps, I always get the same Error 0x80072F8F message.
