Windows 10: Error code: (0x80073712) windows cannot update due to damaged or missing files

I am getting the afore mentioned error code and it won't allow me to update, it even went to bluescreen once. how can I fix this while maintaining the performance of the device?

I am not able to connect the i phone with PC (dell windows 10 64bit) due following update error Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)

I tried with following options but still problem update is due

Step 1: Use System File Checker to repair damaged Windows files

Step 2: Run the DISM tool

Please suggest me how to solve this issuse

I tried all the step according at your indication but I can not solve the problem. The following message appeared: Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)
