Windows 10: Error code: 0x80080005 cannot update windows, cannot find install.wim please help.

Hello everybody.


I have this constant error message for trying to update my windows device.


the error that appears is: "There were some problems installing updates, but we’ll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x80080005"


I have tried doing multiple fixes to solve this issue including

I also cannot find my install.wim file which is supposedly going to fix the issue.


I will post screenshots of me troubleshooting, running windows commands and the message I get in my settings.

I cannot send nor receive emails and get the error code 0x80080005. Any suggestions?

suggests the error number may occur where one of the OTHER drives has a problem.

Your specs don't say whether you have other drives installed.

Anyway, worth using Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - the best text summary of such programs I've seen- to check your disks. Failing that check SMART params and do a surface scan with something else.

Sorry? Have you got the correct Tweaking .com's repair tool? Or followed the steps to the end where you actually do the numbered repairs?
