Windows 10: Error Code 0x800f020b

Hello! I am trying to check for updates and it shows up like it wants to but then flashes to this code 0x800f020b. I went into services, stopped and restarted the Windows Updates, then ran the troubleshooter still nothing. This is on a HP laptop, I ran the updates on the HP Assist program and there was one for a WLAN driver so I installed it but still kept getting this error code 0x800f020b.Has anyone experienced this before and know a fix?

Windows Update 0x800f020b Error


When I run Windows Update on Windows 10 (ver 1511), I get the following error:

Hewlett-Packard - Imaging - Null Print - HP Deskjet 3520 series - Error 0x800f020b

I looked up the 0x800f020b error code and it says this occurs when an attempt is made to update drivers for a device that isn't connected. In my particular case, this device is connected via the wireless network and appears in my list of available Printers.

How do I get rid of this error?

I ended up with Fix Xerox error 0x800f020b in Windows Update, but this topic was really helpful for me to pinpoint the problem (in particular Masees fix)
