    Epson printer error code:0x97

    I bought and Epson WF-3640 3 yrs ago and I had not had any issues until the last few months where it won't do anything and I get the error code 0x97, so I thought my printer had a lot of abused and get another one just like it, this did not solved my
    problem; the new printer work well for a while and then started to displayed the same error code. I've follow the instructions on Troubleshooting and the printer does not need an up date for the driver, I've gone to the Epson website and no help there either
    since it does not need an up date either. i have performed a Microsoft Safety Scanner and the result was "no virus found". I not sure where to go from here.

    Hi Steve

    If you are getting this error code on your Epson wf-3620:

    1.

    Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to Update and Security - Troubleshoot

    Run the Printer Troubleshooter . . .

    2.

    Turn off your Printer, and disconnect it from the Mains

    Restart (not shut down) your PC

    Reconnect the Printer to the mains and turn it back on . . .
