Windows 10: Error code 0xc0000034

I recently discovered a corruption in my windows so decided to do a clean install, I started to do the reset but have ran into several problems along the way and my computer is now stuck in recovery with this code.


I have downloaded the media creation tools and put it on a USB but my computer doesn't read from the USB I have changed the boot up in the BIOS to make sure that the USB is 1st on the list but I'm still getting the same screen. I have tried many threads and searches on the internet but I have had no luck. I can't do anything other than see this error or go into the BIOS.


I have a Predator G3-605 computer.

Error 0xc0000034 is displayed when either the bootmgr file is corrupt or missing or the BCD (Boot Configuration Data) is corrupt or missing. We would like to know more about the issue that you are encountering. Please provide the following

• Were there any changes made on your computer before this issue came up?
• Do you get the same error code 0xc0000034?
