Windows 10: Error code 0xc00000e9 on a 2 month old laptop

my laptop recently has shown this error code upon start up and refuses to enter the recovery environment when i hit f1

I updated my Sony Vaio from windows 7 to windows 10,it worked fine for 2-3 months and then suddenly i am not able to start my laptop.

A blue screen appears with the following message,

File: /Boot/BCD

Error code: 0xc00000e9

I don't have a recovery CD for windows 10, the one i have is of windows7 which came when i bought the laptop.

Unable to do anything, even F8 is not working after starting.

Please help
