Windows 10: Error code 0xc000012f despite reinstalling/repairing Visual C++ Redistributable.

Whenever I try to open a certain game, I get two error boxes that say "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCP110.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and repaired Visual C++ Redistributable, and it still doesn't work.

Error code 0x000013EC on installation of Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable

Hi:

Install Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable but fail with this error:

1. A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine.

Does that error code 0x000013EC always mean "there is a newer version has been detected on the machine", or that error code
0x000013EC can also mean another error?

 

Visual C++ Redistributable won't install?

This issue might if the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package is not installed properly.

I suggest you to uninstall any existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package to check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Uninstall the exiting Microsoft Visual C++.

a) Press Windows key + x key and select
Programs and Features.

b) Right click on the Microsoft Visual C++ and uninstall it.

Step 2: Download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and install it.

Visual C++ 2013 redistributable

I am trying to install an application: Qualcomm Package Manager. The install aborts with the following message:

Please install Visual C++ 2013 redistributable for QIK/QPM to function correctly

I have installed Visual C++ 2013 redistributable yet continue to receive the same error message when attempting to install Qualcomm Package Manager. I don't know what to try next. The application to install doesn't recognize VC++ 2013 redistributable as installed,
yet I have been through the steps to install the redistributable. I do not know how to verify the installation of Visual C++ 2013 redistributable, nor how to uninstall and reinstall. All help appreciated.
