Windows 10: Error code 0xc000012f when opening any program on Windows 10

Hi,

A few days ago, after the latest Windows update, my programs stopped working. I keep getting this error code when trying to open, install or uninstall programs. I searched for the issue online, tried all these things: https://www.****/knowledge/how-to-fix-0xc000012f-error-in-windows-easily/ but to no avail. The problem is that many solutions offered say to install or uninstall something but I get that same error when I try doing that.
I saw some reinstalled Windows, some took their pc to a professional to fix, but I'm trying to find the easiest way and needless to say, wouldn't really like to pay for this since I haven't done anything to make this happen.

Are there other ways some of you tried which actually worked?
It's been driving me nuts for days and I REALLY need the pc.

The error code 0xc000012f related to STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_NOT_MZ, it occurs when specified image file did not have the correct format.

Step 1: I suggest you to download and install latest DirectX End-User Runtimes program and check if it helps.

Note: DirectX 11.2 will work fine with Windows 10 as well.



Step 2: Run the
Search and Indexing troubleshooter.

Follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Search and Indexing
  troubleshooter.

So i've been getting this error code 0xc000012f on my Origin. I tried looking for help but nothing seems to help. I've tried system refresh, Finding an update and many many more :/. I've been fighting
this error for over a week now. So if you have any suggestions please tell me...
