Windows 10: Error code 80070422 and can't fix

Discus and support Error code 80070422 and can't fix in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Can Windows Update be uninstalled and then reinstalled?     Error code 80070422 and can't fix


    Can Windows Update be uninstalled and then reinstalled? I keep getting the Error code 80070422. install of reimage would not complete – Reimage stalled twice during stability check – both times at Fixing (85%) and 448288KB downloaded successfully but would not complete Stability Check nor go to Security check. Never got Reimage to work so removed from laptop and just put laptop away.


    I am not computer savvy so I thought that uninstall and reinstall of Windows Update would be easiest.

    Any simple fix is appreciated.
