Hello,I intermittently facing issues while windows login, when my windows 11 login screen freezes and IR camera doesn't start for face login. error 0x9f, ACPI - will BIOS update fix?


Left my computer on last night to download W10-1511, and set it to sleep in 1 hour. This morning I looked and computer was off. WhoCrashed shows same error:

EDIT: Every time this happens, I am not around, not doing anything on the computer. Could it be something to do with windows maintenance?

 

BSOD error code 0x9F (driver power state failure) on Win 10 Creators

Hi, my system is crashing, and it seems to be happening when entering or exiting sleep. I've used multiple programs to triple-check my drivers (Driver Boost, Intel driver update, Lenovo system scan). I've manually checked and updated the ones mentioned in forums (audio, camera, etc.). Thanks in advance for any advice.

Conclusion
4 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. No offending third party drivers have been found. Connsider using WhoCrashed Professional which offers more detailed analysis using symbol resolution. Also configuring your system to produce a full memory dump may help you.
