    Error: Event 1020, Perflib, Win 10, 1903


    I have been getting this error every day since I updated to Win10 1903.
    The text of the error is:
    "The required buffer size is greater than the buffer size passed to the Collect function of the "C:\Windows\System32\perfts.dll" Extensible Counter DLL for the "LSM" service. The given buffer size was 8056 and the required size was 33040."

    I have combed the internet and can find no reference to this error. Can anyone help?

    PERFLIB - EVENT 1008

    i have lenovo thinkpad running on win 10 pro (x64).

    i have noticed , that there are four errors logged in the event viewer - perflib event 1008.

    the sanpshot of the errors are attached herewith :

    Disable perflib error logging for a specific application

    Thanks, but,,,

    Your suggestion seems to block all event loggings. Right? I wanted just for perflib.
