Windows 10: Error Message when installing Pacesetter BES4 Dream Edition

I recently purchased a new computer with Windows 10 and I am having challenges installing the Pacesetter BES4 Dream Edition Software. The Software requirements state it is compatible with Windows 10. The error message reads:


Box Title: Pacesetter BES4 Dream Edition Installer Information

Message: Error 2203. The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.


I am an administrator for the computer and there are no other files open.


I contacted Brother/Pacesetter regarding the message and they state it is a Microsoft error and suggest I contact Microsoft.


Please advise on how to resolve this error message.

I am dreaming about a new edition of Nokia N85...called N85 NE(Next Edition)....N85 FEATURES+This......

1.Xenon Flash instead of dual led,

2.100mb phone memory,

3.128mb RAM,

4.2.8 inch Screen,

5.More brighter screen with better resolution & good in sunlight,

6.Smooth Working Navi Wheal,

7.Good Build quality,

I am ready to pay 29000-30000 INR for this(in India N85 is now 27000 INR)....

If Nokia people see this..pls do something.....I hope my Dreams come true soon....Nokia N85 NE will be the best N-Series....

Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543


Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:

• Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

The actions I've taken to date are:

• Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
• Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
• Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

So the above errors are with the above done.

What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?

Below is notations for when I actually add to this thread.

• Attempted to use the troubleshooter, no dice.
