Windows 10: Error Updating

Like the title says I've been having a problem updating my upgraded pc from win 7 to 10 to that latest up date. When ever I try to update it in setting I get this "There were problems downloading some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this, try searching the web or contacting support for help. This error code might help: 0x800f0900" I don't know what to do, so I thought I should ask for help here. Any help would be appreciated!

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

^ what they said will both work. i suggest updating directX, and in the future please try and list the exact error message... and i want a muffin.
