Windows 10: Error when accessing devices in Microsoft account: Try that again TraceId:...

For a fortnight now I have been getting the following when accessing Devices in my microsoft account:

Try that again
Something happened on our end, and we can't show all the data at the moment. Waiting a bit might help.Try again


TraceId: otLcAg4Qw0CziWH9.7.20.5

I went through the Get Help app but refused the creepy logmein full access that allows backgroud script running and rebooting of the PC as this seems to be an account, not PC issue and on the MS end.


The agent said that the reason the page could not be displayed is that one of the devices PC and phone could not sync so I had to fix my PC by running an in place upgrade re-install he would talk me throug.
Again suspicious I looked it up, ended the support chat add saw no mor harm in the in place upgrade following my own links from microsoft than the loss of a few hours and, indeed, the update to my PC did not fix my online account. I neer expected it would.


All of the searches for 'Try that again ' reference the app store and are about a year old so just wondering if anyone else has encountered this.
The TraceID seems to change on the US hour.

Basically I seem to sam seeming to be told I can't remove my phone from my Windows account because it isn't syncing.
I can't add my phone to the Windows account because I need to remove and re-add it first, the first part being troublesome.

Also the Get Help app is not broken. Borked big time. You do the 6 question survey and it bounces you to a nothing screen with Subit feedback,

Cannot sign in microsoft account.

My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6.

Any suggestion?

Could these other devices be from friends that you may have signed in to your Microsoft account on for something?

Either way, you can remove these devices.

Afterwards to be safe, I would recommend to change the password of your Microsoft account, and enable two-step verification if you haven't already.

App store and Microsoft account

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
