    Error when installing Windows 10 from USB. Error code: 0x0000225


    I have tried to reinstall Windows 10 from a USB (32GB), which has the Windows 10 ISO (from the Windows Media Creation Tool) created into a bootable USB Flash Drive using Rufus 3.8 and selected MBR with the File System as NTFS (I used a tutorial, and this is what most people are saying to do).


    BIOS Settings:

    Boot Mode: Legacy


    I have selected USB Flash Media for the first thing it checks to boot from. It does not come up on the screen with the purple screen to install Windows 10 whereas it just shows the Windows 10 Logo and then after 30 seconds it goes to a Recovery Page.

    Error code: 0x0000225


    You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer.


    Press Enter to try again

    Press F8 for Startup Settings


    When I press Enter it just reloads this same Recovery screen and when I press F8 it does not work and reloads the same Recovery screen. There is a previous Windows 10 installed on this which is corrupted, but it is loading from the USB as if it wasn't the screen would just go blank when you boot it up.


    Can anyone help, please? I am trying to install Windows 10 but keep getting these errors. Here is the image below. This is the only screen I can access.Error when installing Windows 10 from USB. Error code: 0x0000225 [​IMG]

    Error code 0x0000225

    when trying to recover a slow PC get Blue screen .

    with Error code 0x0000225 on windows 10

    and have tried the recommended fix

    but now stuck.

    any suggestions please

    BIOS error codes

    So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

    Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

    Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.

    i tried installing windows 10 on my 8.1 laptop and during installation it rebooted itself and i got a screen that said error code 0x0000225 required device isn't connected or can't be accessed and i dont have a recovery disc to use, i also tried booting
    into safe mode and it won't work or do anything
