Windows 10: Error while installing Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

I want to install SQL Sever in windows 10, however it shows that it requires .NET Framework 2.0 but when I am trying gto install .NET, it shows that my operating system already has .NET Framework 4.5 or higher version. I am not able to understand how to resolve this. Can someone help?

SQL Server 2014 Management studio installation on Windows 10

Hi,

I am trying to install SQL Server Management Studio 2014 on Windows 10, and got error (in the Feature Rule Step) that I don't have Microsoft .net 3.5 SP1. However, as part of the Windows installation I already have .net 4.5.1 and 4.6.

What should I do?

To download .net 3.5 in addition to the current .net versions I have? or there is some workaround?
