Windows 10: Error Windows Server Upgrade from 2012R2 to 2022 Standart

Dear,I want to upgrade my VM OS form Windows Server 2012R2 to Windows Server 2022 has an error "0xC1900101 - 0x40021" The Installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_RESPECIALIZE operationAnd then i try to install Windows Server 2016 and 2019 has some problem failed to upgrade

Windows server 2012R2 is failing to activate

I had a windows server 2008R2 upgraded to windows server 2012R2 and it was working fine. I just had it formatted and re-installed the OS due to some errors I was facing in Exchange 2016. Now the exchange is working fine but the OS is failing to activate
with the keys I had in windows server 2008R2.

Does this mean keys are obsolete when I upgrade the OS?

Inherit permission from the parent folder in Windows Server 2012R2

I understand that you want the child folder to inherit the permissions from the parent folder. You can try the following steps and check if that helps:

1. Right click on the folder to which you want to provide permission.
   
2. Click on Security tab.
   
3. Click on Advanced.
   
4. Click on Enable Inheritance and.
   
5. Click on Apply and OK.
