Ethernet default gateway issue on ETHERNET only

Hello, so the issue i have is my internet connection will drop out under very specific circumstances under ethernet. I can use a browser and watch a youtube video absoultely fine, with no interuption, but if i load up a Zoom meeting then the connection will drop out. When i troubleshoot it says the default gateway was unavailable, it fixes it and the internet works again until i load both youtube and zoom. It also happens the other way around, i can be on a zoom meeting, working completely fine but as soon as i load a browser the connection drops. I should point out that these issues don't occur on WiFi. I need to connect via Ethernet as i am trying to jam online with a band using a program called Jamulus and it requires an ethernet connection to keep everyone in sync.

    So far i have tried:
    *Updating drivers
    *Rolling back drivers
    *Deleting drivers
    *Using alternative drivers
    *Reset Network settings
*Made sure i have no Mcafee products
*Turned off power saving features on network adapter
*Tried it at a friends house on their router
    *Tried different ethernet cables

Im using an Acer Aspire E1-571 on Windows 10. Any suggestions or comments from anyone who has encountered and solved this issue would be most welcome. It seems pretty unique in that it works fine one one program until i use an additional program/application and that creates the issue.

    :)

Ethernet issues - no default gateway

    Try adding default gateway.

It's IP adress is adress of your modem or router (it depends where your ethernet connection is plugged in)

Ethernet issues - no default gateway

If your computer recognizes your Ethernet card, you will be able to do that.

-As i told to you, check your router if there are any problems there...

To add DG: Go to Network and Sharing Center->Change adapter settings->Find your ethernet adapter->Right click and find properties of it->Find
Internet Protocol Version 4->Assign the static ip and put the ip of your router in the default gateway (if you're directly connected to the modem, instead of router's, put modem's one).

    Static IP:

-If your's device ip is 192.168.1.1, your ip should look like 192.168.1.x (x can be anything from 2-255).

Ethernet issues - no default gateway

    Hi there,

Having a lot of problems with my Ethernet connection after (I am guessing) a Windows 10 upgrade yesterday.

It has worked perfectly for fine for months or years, now suddenly no internet access.

This is what I can tell you:

    - the Ethernet cable is working fine - I am tried it out into the back of a different device

    - On my PC (which does NOT have wireless) the only network connection is Ethernet

    - This is (after Windows Network Diagnostic) labelled as "Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration".

    - As of this morning I thought I had a LAN connection on the PC, but I can't see any evidence of this now.

    - When I run "ipconfig" I note that there is no information next to default gateway.

    - When I have turned on the PC, but BEFORE I log-in, the larger network icon in the bottom right hand corner has a slightly different message in that it says "Unidentified Network" and "Limited" below it.

    - I have tried a ton of fixes today, none of which have worked. These have been as drastic as resetting all Network Connections, and even reinstalling Windows. The problem still persists.

So what seemed innocuous this morning, now seems a major hassle to fix.

Does anyone have any ideas please? I have been through heaps of fixes, so don't mind trying them all again with someone but PLEASE stick with me until my problem is SOLVED!

    Thanks!

    Ed
