Windows 10: Ethernet Issues

My PC is connected to the internet through an ethernet cable connected to my router. Whenever I boot up the computer, it shows 'Network 1' as the name of the connection. However, that was at the beginning and now it's at Network 231. The main problem here is that most software don't work, only browsers do. For example, Steam can run but starts offline. Zoom can't start up. Games on the Epic Games launcher and other games like Valorant can't run either. However, I can open Google Chrome and browse around the WWW just fine. This issue might happen if the power saver option is set.

I suggest you to follow the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows Key + X key and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network Adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Network Adapter listed and click on
  Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Power Management tab.
  
• 
  Uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box and click on
  Ok.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
