Windows 10: Event colours for Acer Windows PC Calendar

I have read several entries about not being able to allocate colours to different events in my Google Calendar. But I don't see a Colour icon or Option that everyone mentions. Can I have some help pls cos im 83 yrs old in South Africa and would welcome specific guidance. John

If your Google calendar can't be synced with the Windows Calendar app, then follow the below Microsoft article.

If the issue persists then, I suggest you to uninstall the apps which came inbuilt with Windows 10 using Windows PowerShell and reinstall using Windows Store. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in
  the search bar.
  
• 
  Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and Calendar app.
  

get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage


After performing the above steps, install the Mail and Calendar app form the Windows Store.

No, as each event is colour coded depending on what calendar the event is coming from.

 

Change colour of events

It doesn't seem to be the answer I was looking for. I know you can change the colours but I wanted to have one colour for holidays, one for appointments, one for hairdresser, etc. Is this option available please?

My question has not been resolved. I have looked on the forum and others have the same problem. There doesn't seem to be a way of colour coding events in the same calendar. Will just have to live with it!

I have been using acalendar which is great, may have to go back to using that.
