  1. Event Error Causing System Crashes

THis has been happening for a while, but I believe I finally located the cause of seemingly random crashes, something that always appears in the event log at the time of the crash:The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device HID\VID_046D&PID_0A9C&MI_03&Col02\7&2b429aa8&0&0001I don't really know what this means. I'm assuming an outddated driver, but generally search results haven't been very useful. If anyone could help me figure this out so that I can play games again, I'd be very grateful. This is copied from DxDiag for additional information;Time of this repo

    System Error.

Event ID for each error? List those, will tell you what caused it on the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

System crashes/shuts down, no BSOD, cause unknown

Thanks for the help. The event log shows critical errors on times this crash has occurred. In each case on summary page it states there was a "kernal power" issue: EventID 41 and Task Category 63. I have no idea what that actually means except that the system shutdown "unexpectedly." Event viewer says "This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." This occurred maybe 15 times sporadically since mid Feb.

So what would next step be? I looked over the more detailed info in Event Viewer and hadn't a clue what i was reading.

    Thsnks, Denis

    Event Error Causing System Crashes

Side by Side Error (Event ID 33) causing Razer App to crash

    Windows 10 64-bit, Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.2075)

OK I have gone through literally days of tech support with Razer's CS, and as expected, they go through all the usual steps that don't help at all.

Problem: Unable to launch rzappengine.exe. The problem shuts itself down a few seconds after launching with no prompts whatsoever. It happens both upon startup as well as manual opening the program.

A Razer CS suggested that I copy the program into the AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder to force the program to run. And doing that gets this error:

Event Error Causing System Crashes [IMG]

Checking in Event Viewer I find this:

Event Error Causing System Crashes [IMG]

I googled about this and all the answers talk about Visual C++ backward incompatibility etc. But their errors all say Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC.... but as you can see mine doesn't. So is this still to do with Visual C++?

In any case, I have indeed tried installing older versions of Visual C++ but the problem persists.

Does anyone know what I can try next? I've also attached the sxstrace.etl file (changed extension to .txt to enable upload)

EDIT: If anyone is curious, this is the program that refuses to run ➜ Surround Sound System For Gaming Headset | 7.1 Surround Sound

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh I figured it out. The error is due to me not copying all the associated folders into the Startup folder. Once I do it no longer comes up with the error. But the program still crashes and disappear nevertheless...
