  1. Every Microsoft update means 1 or 2 days of nonproductivity.

Every month Microsoft sends an update which means 1-2 days of nonproductivity. Last month, after the update, spent days fighting the new printer driver on a printer that worked until the update. Finally, just bought a new printer which works most.

This month, the update killed the mouse. I am on the 3rd mouse, which I managed to get working until I rebooted.

Personally, I think the Microsoft Engineer that pushed the final button to send the updates should have something tied into this like, his family on a slow boat to China, or an angry mob at his house with torches.

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Every Microsoft update means 1 or 2 days of nonproductivity. :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
