    every time i try to install update keeps giving me Error encountered


    i tried to download 2021-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems KB5003173and after finishing installing a msg pops up There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x800f0984what should I do ?

    Error Encountered for drivers updates

    Running Win 10 v 2004 currently with a Dell desktop pc. When I went to Windows Update there was the version 20H2 update available along with Recommended updates of 3 drivers I am still deciding whether to install 20H2. When I checked the 3 listed drives for downloading and installing the Error Encountered notification. Oddly I have since retruned to Windows Update and the only update shown now is version 20H2?

    Good day

    I'm in serious need of help I'm trying to install a program on my Laptop "windows 10" and it keeps on giving me the same error over and over.

    "Windows Update Standalone Installer

    Installer encountered an error: 0x80096002

    The certificate for the signer of the message is invalid or not found"

    Update installation error

    I have tried installing with WUA Manager and it seemingly installed and just shut down the device with no notice. (instead of restarting). It did not announce update was not installed. I had to turn on with power button. And Update history does not list the update with no notification. In contrast, the WUMT does not shut down or restart. It just notifies after 100% installation process that update was not installed with an error. In update history, the update is listed FAILED (with error)

    The lengthy process of Command prompt: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and even lengthier process of:
    Windows Update Reset Tool > ResetWUEng did not help.(But I found out my product Key number which Best Buy refused to give me).

    My next step would get live agent assistance from MS HELP department. Or just ditch the update.
