Windows 10: Every windows installer keeps giving me a .NET Framework error

Hi there,

For some reason over the past few days i keep getting an 'unprocessed exception' notification every time i run a windows installer.

Now i did user Patchcleaner a few weeks ago but that's pretty much it.

Does anyone know how to fix this error? Do i have to reinstall some .net framework perhaps? If so, which one because there are multiple versions right?

Als u JIT-foutopsporing wilt inschakelen, moet in het configuratiebestand voor deze
toepassing of computer (machine.config) de waarde
jitDebugging in het gedeelte system.windows.forms zijn ingesteld.
De toepassing moet ook zijn gecompileerd terwijl foutopsporing
was ingeschakeld.

Bijvoorbeeld:

Wanneer JIT-foutopsporing is ingeschakeld, worden onverwerkte uitzonderingen
naar het JIT-foutopsporingsprogramma gestuurd dat op de computer is geregistreerd
en worden niet door dit dialoogvenster verwerkt.

.Net Framework Error

First run Windows updates...after there are no more important installs then try .net framework.*Toast :toast:

 

.NET Framework 3.5 installation error: 0x800736B3

I suggest you to follow the below steps to check whether the .NET Framework 3.5 has been installed or not.

• Press Windows+X and then select programs and features.
• On the left hand side click on the option “turn windows features on or off”.
• Check whether the “.NET Framework 3.5” has been checked or not.
• If not check then I suggest you to check it and then install it.

Unable to install .Net Framework 3.5 with error: "the feature couldn't be installed and gives me an Error code: 0x8E5E03FA" on Windows 10

Try the below troubleshooting steps if not yet tried and check if it helps.

Step 1: I would suggest you to run .Net framework cleanup tool
and check.

(Also holds good for Windows 10)

Step 2: Start the optional feature .Net framework.

• Press Windows key + R
• Type: optionalfeatures.exe
• Hit Enter
• Check of .NET Framework 3.5
• Click OK

Step 3: I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter and check.

Resolves problems that prevents you from updating windows.

Steps:

• Press Windows + X, click on Control Panel, select
  Category and then select Large or Small icons.
• Click on Troubleshooting and click on
  View all in the left pane.
• Select Windows Update to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter
  and follow the on-screen instructions.

Now try to turn on the .Net framework and check if the issue persists.
