    Excel Office 2010 error 2147417848 in Windows 10 1809


    After the upgrade to Windows 10 1809 on a HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx 64 bits 8 GB Excel 2010 is giving problems.


    On different places in my macros I have errorcode 2147417848, randomly with commands copy, paste and clear.

    Also found: 'Automatiseringsfout. Er is een uitzondering opgetreden'. (Automation error. There has been an exception)

    Excel closes all files and can only be stopped in Task Management.


    I already did a repair action on Office, and I started Excel in the safe Office mode. Those actions did not help.

    Done a clean install of windows 10 on a new PC. Installed my Office 2010, but now I can not open some of my excel files. They are designated XLSX, and when I try to choose a app to open them excel is not listed. I need these files, anyone got ideas. Thanks.

    Microsoft Excel 2010 on Windows 10?

    Yes.

    All of the Microsoft Office 2010 products will work on Windows 10 without issue.

    If you upgrade your computer and have Excel already installed, you don't have to do anything else.

    If you get a different device with Windows 10, you will need a license for that device for Office/Excel 2010 and the installation media to install it with.
