Xbox live avatar not displaying correctly - shows up as a black box

Hello everybody,

I would suggest you try to do the following:

• Turn on the Xbox
• Log on to your account if it doesn't login automatically
• Go to your avatar configuration area and change some feature (Hair, eyes, shirt, etc.)
• Save the change.

If you have a special avatar customization like Halo or Gears of War suits avatars, try and see what happens if you go back to a basic setup. Once you saved the changes on the Xbox, wait until the changes get pushed to the device. You can also try to turn
of the phone and switch it back on again to see if the update comes faster.

Who would like to see zune connectivity with xbox live avatar?

I think it would be great to have the Zune social network link in directly with xbox live and their avatar system. The badges on Zune could be used towards earning band shirts or themes for your xbox and avatar, similar to the avatar awards already given
by many xbox games. Just wanted to see if anyone else thinks this would be a good idea

 

Avatar clothing not displayed properly

Hi,

I have a yellow Rogers Nokia Lumia 920 running the latest firmware 1308. Besides all the data bugs associated with this latest update I've also noticed that the Xbox avatar I have associated with my Microsoft and Xbox account has become buggy. I purchased a
"Superman Costume" from the Marketplace Store under the new Injustice related clothing. I paid 400 MS points for this costume. Originally when I purchased the outfit it displayed as shown and my avatar on my phone wore this costume.

As of last night my avatar is no longer wearing this costume in the Xbox hub on my Windows Phone. He is now wearing jeans, running shoes a default t-shirt called "Power Tee" with the Xbox power button logo on it.

I went back into my avatar clothing wardrobe through the Xbox hub on my Windows Phone. I found the Superman costume and it showed me I was still wearing it. But clearly I am not. I turned on my Xbox console and my Superman costume is showing correctly. On the
live tile of the XBox hub on my Windows Phone my avatar is displayed wearing the Superman costume. I've gone into the Avatar clothing marketplace through my phone, browsed the costumes under the Injustice clothing line and all costumes are show correctly EXCEPT
the Superman costume. Every time I scroll over to that costume it displays it as the blue generic t-shirt and jeans. I've attempted to download it again through my console itself and there was no change. I'm a little annoyed I paid 400 MS points that won't
display properly.

Any suggestions?
