Windows 10: Exe files Wont open

I am stuck in SAFE MODE because no exe file will open!! I cant access Regedit, Msconfig, Cmd or Powershell any EXE file so I cant even change to different account to get out of safe mode.

Everytime I click on exe file the store app pops up and I have tried reset on that app with no success.

Any ideas on how to solve this puzzle, because I cant think on any other tricks.

opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

 

Exe file slow to open

A SFX archive isn't going to open right away. The files have to be extracted first. When you are opening it in WinRar, it's not extracting the file, it's just reading it which is why it opens right away.

 

Exe files wont open

We suggest that you try to reinstall Antivirus and see if it helps.

You can also run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption. SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them. Please see the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click Command Prompts (Admin)
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:
  sfc /scannow
