Windows 10: Exit windows 10 safe mode

When trying to exit from safe mode after restarting my computer, the sign-in page does not recognize my pin or my Microsoft password. This prevents me from changing back to normal mode using msconfig. I can get in using my wife's email and password but cannot make any changes as I am the administer. I also tried holding the shift key and clicking on restart and working though the steps offered there. It's very frustrating that it recognizes my wife's password but not mine. Please help

I suggest you to try the below steps to exit from the Safe mode on Windows 10.

Steps to place the computer in normal mode.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply
  and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

• Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
  keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
  Enter.
• Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
• Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.
