Windows 10: Experiencing sudden mouse lag

Hi all,

I have a pretty decent system, it runs fine, but I've noticed since last week, my Logitech G502 is suddenly experiencing lag. No spikes, no drops, it just feels like it's dragging. I've tried changing DPI (though I didn't change the DPI in the first place) and it still feels the same - like suddenly something is causing it to drag, as if it's running 30-40 FPS instead of 60. I don't know how better to describe it.

I've checked my startup programs, boots, and services and can't find any additions or changes, there have been no updates to the Logitech Gaming Software, I haven't installed anything... Windows may have updated (I can't quite remember) but this is driving me nuts!

When I play a game, either the lag disappears, or I don't notice it (I'm quite sure it disappears, because if it drives me insane while just using Windows, I'm 100% sure it would push me over the edge while trying to game.)

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing it? I've tried everything I can think of.

In order to isolate the issue further, we suggest that you use another mouse on your PC and check if it is lagging as well. Also, try using your mouse on a different PC and check if there are issues.
