Explore.exe Error Isn’t Going Away and Start doesn’t work anymore!

    Hi guys :

I’m so frustrated! I got a random Windows 10 Security update 2 days back, and upon my laptop restarting automatically, I keep seeing an “Explorer.exe” error when I try to access my “Start” menu which doesn’t work anymore, neither do any of the other icons on the taskbar except for Firefox. And the worst issue is I am unable to access my Settings due to these issues...

I have tried NUMEROUS things ranging from using the “Run” software for msconfig, WSReset.exe, regedit, powershell, rstrui, winver, regedt32, etc..

I have also tried using “Command Prompt” for Scannow, DSIM, and a few more things but I keep failing to find a solution.

I’ve tried rebooting, going into Safe Mode and trying to access my settings at least via Run, but NOTHING.

I have an Acer Aspire E5-574G laptop and these issues along with the “Explorer.exe” error are ruining my life! I’m going crazy spending hours trying to find solutions, and everything I found online leads to errors and no resolutions :’

The error is numbered as “File System Error -2144927436” btw.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Please help me!

    :)

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I ran SeaTools. These are the results:

Does it mean my HDD is useless?

  3. Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"
    or this

Is there a workaround for that?
