For Explorer is there a way to ensure that the last chevron in the breadcrumb bar is hidden when there are no sub folders in the current directory?

Why did Microsoft give its blessing to Chevron?

    It was official. Google it.

@mandyshaw: You've confused two different products. The one you're talking about is the original unlocker. That one WAS unofficial, and you're right, doesn't work on NoDo.

But: The hole MSFT patched in NoDo wasn't discovered by MSFT. It was discovered by the ChevronWP7 team, via their unofficial unlocker.

What got official blessing was this:
    ChevronWP7.com
, June 17 blog post. It is an unlocking
service, much like MSFT's own developer unlock. There are two main differences.

    • The price - Chevron will cost only $10 USD per annum, as opposed to $95 from MSFT.
    • The capability - the Chevron service will unlock your phone and allow you install homebrew apps, but to submit apps to the Marketplace, you still have to use MSFT's $95 service.

Thanks for the link - this new service doesn't appear to have launched yet, though, and no Twitter updates since 17 June.
