Windows 10: Explorer.exe using too much of my cpu

    Explorer.exe using too much of my cpu


    I've been experiencing this bug for a few days, it only happens on my own user account, and it seems to be related to ntdll.dll

    System using too much CPU

    I let it run for a while and now it doesn't do it as frequently and when it does it does it for short periods, so it's OK now.

    I guess that could be plausible considering that it only ramps up the CPU for several hour bursts.

    And it could be that I haven't noticed it before because only now is it causing overheating issues because my fans are all clogged up with dust after many years.

    But still, I'd like a second opinion.

    And some information on this ntoskrnl.exe!Geteffective or whatever thing.
