Windows 10: Extend D drive

I have very low storage on my laptop and for installation of a game I need 200 GBs, my D drive is of 177 GBs and I have 60GB extra free space in C which I want to allocate to D.

How can I do that without data loss?

• Type Command prompt in the search bar.
• Type-in the following command:
  
  attrib -h -r -s /s /d D:\*.*
• Press Enter to execute the command.

• Click on the File Explorer.
• Select This PC.
• Right-click on your D drive, then click on Format.

unable to extend local D drive,even i have a 293GB of un allocated space

Windows is limited and can only extend into an adjacent partition. You will need to use a 3rd party application to extend your D drive.

Unable to extend C drive

So recently I've been trying to extend my c drive seeing as it was getting to be full and the D drive had plenty of room. After doing some research I figured out that I simply need to delete the D drive to free up the space and then use the extend C drive
option to add space. However, even after I deleted the D drive the extend option is still gray and will not allow me to extend the drive. I can make a new D drive and reclaim the space but I am unable to extend the C drive at this time. I'm not too keen on
downloading a third party program to basically force my computer to finally extend the drive so I'm trying to figure out what could be going wrong.
