Windows 10: External harddisk won't boot anymore

I have an external harddrive with 2 partitions:

• one for mass storage and backup (4 tb)
• one for booting windows installations, macrium reflect and other media that needs to run from boot (8 gb)

The bootable partition I reused for various tasks, everytime I needed to use bootable media, I deleted the old files (not format, just delete) and extracted the new boot media to the root folder, but it doesn't work anymore. It won't boot anymore, it goes straight into windows.

I have no idea what I have done differently this time, but it bypasses boot on all my systems. I must have changed something, but I don't know what. How can I fix it?

File History of files on external USB harddisk drive

Hi,

I have a external harddisk connected to my pc using USB. This drive contains personal files which I want to add to file history. I simply want that everytime I connect my external harddrive to my pc, that file history backs up the files on it to a location
on the network. How do I do that?

* I have file history working for files on an internal harddrive

* I did add my external harddrive to the Documents library

* I tried adding the folder on the external harddrive using the "Add a folder" using the windows 10 settings. But the folder seems to dissappear from the list after a while.

Another detail: the disk is encrypted using DiskCryptor. Everytime I connect the drive windows says it has to be formatted. When I mount the drive by providing the key to DiskCryptor the drive becomes a valid one.

 

How can I get Ovi to transfer and look for photos,videos etc on my pc's external harddisk

With my old Nokia I could decide that all photos and videos taken should be transfered and saved on my computers external harddisk. I do not have space for video on my pc. But Ovi will not let me save photos/video other places than on my computer. I
have many photos (thats why I choose N8), no space on the pc h and have always used the external harddisk for photo, video. How do I get Ovi to allow me to change the settings to my F disk (extern harddisk). If not I can not use N8 at all.
