Windows 10: External trackpad for Windows 10 with gesture support

Hi all,

I know this has been asked before, but not in a while. So hoping there are some developments.

Are there any good external trackpads for windows 10, that support features like 2 finger scrolling, 4 finger swipe to change desktops etc? I'm guessing for that they would need to be compatible with the Windows Precision drivers.

I did some research, so far

1. Logitech T650- Too old, does not play well with windows 10.
2. Jellybean- Is this good?
3. Wacom tablets- Arent these a tad too big for a trackpad? Let me know if anyone uses them.

Essentially I would like something like the Magic Trackpad, but native to windows 10. Since this is for my work computer, I will not be able to tinker it much, install 3rd party drivers etc.

Need List of Laptops that Use Win 10 Trackpad Gestures


Is there a link that I can view a list of all laptops that are capable of using Windows 10 trackpad gestures?

 

Trackpad Gestures settings missing/no gestures except for scroll

I have a Retina MacBook Pro and updated Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on a separate partition.

I have tried using gestures but they don't seem to work. I can scroll/click but that is it. No other gestures can be used.

I looked up some articles and found out that gestures are only supported on certain types of hardware with good trackpads. Well, seeing as how I'm running Windows 10 on my Retina MacBook(2015) with a good trackpad... I don't see why gestures in Windows 10
won't work or be supported.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Do I need to install any additional drivers? Are gestures in Windows 10 not supported on the Mac? Do I need to install Windows 10 using Boot Camp or was it ok that I just updated it through Windows instead of doing
a clean installation?

• What is the make and model of the computer?

please be informed that pc manufacturer would decide to have the Trackpad Gestures on the pc or not. if there are drivers available for that particular model then it would work even if the driver are available for win 8.1 then also you can try to install
it in compatibility mode to check if that helps. MS has no role in deciding if the Trackpad Gestures should be present on the pc or not.
